Bengaluru techie Atul Subhas tragic suicide case highlights the failure of justice in our country, where the very institutions meant to provide protection and support instead become tools for persecution. His story is not an isolated incident, but rather a symptom of a broader problem – the deliberate systematic ordeal designed to destroy men emotionally, socially, and financially.

Who is Atul?

Atul Subhash was born in Vaini Pusa Road Bazaar of Pusa block of Samastipur, Bihar. Atul Subhash’s childhood education was done from a private school located on Pusa Road and Kendriya Vidyalaya Pusa. Later he (Atul) went to Delhi to pursue further studies.

After completing his studies in Delhi, Atul Subhash was posted as DGM in Artificial Intelligence in Atul Mahindra & Mahindra Company in Bangalore.

Atul married Nikita Singhania, who works in Accenture, in 2019. They met on a matchmaking website and had a son the next year. Nikita is a resident of Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh.

Why Atul Ended His Life

Atul Subhash committed suicide after being harassed by his wife Nikita Singhania and in-laws. Atul was fed up of the long hearings in the court. He started feeling that he will never be able to recover from the false cases filed by his wife. It was not Atul, anyone would have thought the same because coming from Bangalore to Jaunpur Family Court for 120 hearings in two years was a big torture. Despite all this, the misbehavior of the woman judge who not only made fun of Atul in the court but also demanded a bribe from him.

Atul has clearly stated that the judge of the family court had pressurized him for maintenance of Rs 3 crore and also asked for Rs 5 lakh to settle the case in December itself. To connect every link in the court, Atul also shared things about the personal moments of his life which hardly anyone does.
